Dalai Lama visits Rochester Mayo Clinic

The Dalai Lama will visit Minnesota Sunday and meet with members of the Twin Cities Tibetan community. The exiled spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhists plans to speak in Minneapolis on Sunday and at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester on Monday. He’ll also have a routine checkup there. World Festival 2006 Kicks Off!

Today, the World Festival kicks off with ETHNIC DANCE, MUSIC, ENTERTAINMENT on stage at 7 PM. The theme is “Around the World in 30 Years”. Head over to Century High School, 2525 Viola Road NE.
